Kathy Johnson, BA

She served as a volunteer counselor at Woodland Hills Church in St. Paul, MN for 1 ½ years and at Crossroads International Church of the Hague, the Hague, Netherlands for 3 years, where she also was a member of the Pastoral Care Leadership team. Kathy has had extensive experience in spiritual mentoring and group leading. She brings a passion for helping individuals find healing and move toward experiencing a full and free life.  While serving at MRC, her work will be supervised by Clinical Director, Sharon Mason, MA, LP.

Standard rates for private pay:

Kathy is not able to receive payment from insurance companies. Her hourly rate is $20 per 50-minute session. Payment is due at each session.

Payment arrangements:

Check or cash for the agreed amount is due at each session. 

Appointment availability:

Kathy is available for counseling sessions on Thursdays:  1:30PM – 4:30PM or 1:30PM – 8:30PM  (alternating weeks) and Fridays:  Noon – 4:00PM.

Kathy is interning at Minnesota Renewal Center while completing her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Bethel University. Kathy has had previous training in Lay Counseling, is certified in the Prepare / Enrich Inventory for engaged and married couples, and has received training in Trauma Awareness and Resiliency.
